Twitter 2018 #WorldCup

OPPORTUNITY / Twitter sought to capitalize on the FIFA World Cup - the most popular event on Twitter - by educating new users on platform features.ACTION / As campaign lead, I developed and executed the marketing strategy and led a cross-functional team of 40+ to create over 1200 deliverables. This included localized email campaigns in 9 countries, daily social media content, 19 product tutorial videos, and 30 follower packs. We partnered with FIFA and 17 national teams to share best practices and leverage their channels.RESULTS / The campaign re-engaged 5% of dormant accounts, increased global brand awareness by 7 points, and achieved a 4.7% engagement rate on educational GIFs.

Twitter x Super Bowl 2022

OPPORTUNITY / Twitter partnered with the NFL to showcase fan prediction Tweets on the roof of SoFi Stadium for Super Bowl 2022.ACTION / I led the development and execution of the campaign, including social media call-to-action, Influencer engagement, fan surprises, and Twitter selection to be displayed on SoFi Stadium rooftop and amplified on Twitter.RESULTS / The campaign achieved 59.7M impressions (+150% YOY), 22M video views (+140% YOY), and 1.33M total engagements. Ad recall increased by 9%, and brand favorability and consideration rose by 6%.

Samsung WatchON

Samsung WatchON

OPPORTUNITY / Samsung WatchON, the first TV everywhere app from a major consumer electronics company, served as a universal remote and TV guide.ACTION / I advised Samsung’s Korean HQ on global go-to-market strategy, covering product readiness, customer development, and value proposition. Hired a US team to execute bespoke positioning, messaging, go-to-market plans, media plans, app marketing, and co-branding agreements with carriers and retailers. Additionally, built an online community platform for user support.RESULTS / We acquired 30 million users in the first 6 weeks and achieved 200% over forecast in active users within the first year.

SOL Republic Shadow Wireless

OPPORTUNITY / Rare when you work on a product you immediately love and the team behind it is amazing to collaborate with. We worked 6 months to bring Shadow Wireless to market.ACTION / I orchestrated the customer segmentation, product positioning, consumer messaging, GTM and launch plans. The strategy was to lead with digital marketing, influencer programs and leverage an exclusive partnership with Best Buy. Launch Strategy: Pre-launch with key influencers and media followed with exclusive launch with Best BuyRESULTS / The initial reception has been overwhelmingly positive: for Mashable, "Shadow puts all other wireless headphones to shame". This led to the strongest product launch ever at SOL REPUBLIC driving outstanding word-of-month and record pre-orders (150% over forecast) before the actual launch date.

Starmaker

OPPORTUNITY / StarMaker, a singing app with over 30M downloads, planned a major revamp and introduction of original content to highlight its potential to boost music careers.ACTION / During 3 months, we worked on developing a 360-degree marketing plan to relaunch the brand and support user migration and growth of the new app on iOS and Android. I led the app positioning and messaging, app store marketing, user growth, performance marketing, email, push notification and in-app messaging.RESULTS / We achieved 10x installs in the first month and the app was named Apple's "Best New App".

Music Expo

OPPORTUNITY / I wanted to create the first conference for music makers in San Francisco, driven by my passion for music.ACTION / I founded Music Expo, a conference dedicated to music production and performance, attracting top artists, musicians, producers, engineers, industry professionals, manufacturers, and music enthusiasts. I curated diverse panels, workshops, and networking opportunities to foster collaboration and innovation within the music community.RESULTS / We expanded from a single event in San Francisco to four events nationwide, drawing 3,000 attendees, 150 speakers, and 50 commercial partners annually. What I am the proudest is how Music Expo has been transformative for many participants, with some progressing from beginners to collaborating with global superstars and even winning Grammys. The event has facilitated numerous professional connections and collaborations, solidifying its reputation as a premier event in the music industry.
